The event is expected to welcome 25 million visits, with many expected to come more than once and 70 per cent of visitors anticipated to come from outside the UAE, the largest proportion of international visitors in the 168-year history of World Expos.

Officer - Security
The Security Department at Expo 2020 is mandated to prepare, deliver and ensure that the appropriate security solution is in place at all phases of the programme and into legacy through a guest-focused, risk-based approach that sets out to provide best-in-class.
Manager- Show Operations
On behalf of Expo 2020 and Her Excellency, the Ceremonies and Daily Production team will be responsible for the delivery the Expo 2020 opening and closing Ceremonies, the special days, the daily show and the daily programming content in the iconic Al Wasl Venue.
Manager- Broadcast Technical
Media Operations, a department within Communications, is responsible for providing all the services and facilities the accredited media need to do their jobs, both when on the Expo site and when working remotely. This includes all the planning and preparation in advance of the event.
Senior Manager - Health and Safety
Reporting to the Head of Event Health and Safety the Zone Health and Safety Manager is responsible and accountable for ensuring implementation of the Expo 2020 health, safety, quality and environment policy, procedures and Expo 2020 assurance standards and for providing specialist health and safety advice and assistance within a specific zone on the Expo 2020 site.
The Contracts Department is responsible for post-contract administration for both strategic and tactical projects, including payment certification, claims management, and contract change/ variation management.
Director Commercial Legal
The Commercial Legal Department (CL) is responsible for the following areas: sponsorship, patronage, licensing, retail, ticketing, broadcasting, food and beverage, concessions, programming, ceremonies and related IT. The mandate of CL is to support Expo 2020's legal needs in those areas which includes drafting, negotiating, reviewing, researching and servicing hundreds of contracts plus other documentation in relation to these areas.
