The company is installing a network of gravity sewer pipes below ground which will be used to collect sewerage flows from individual buildings and convey them to the pumping stations located at a common collection points within each of the drainage basins.

Each pumping station will discharge into a force main that is designed to carry peak flows from each network pumping station into the two main pumping stations. This will ensure movement of the sewerage flow to the wastewater treatment plant at Al Jurf.
