Indian Association elects managing committee
DUBAI - The Indian Association Dubai has elected a new managing committee with K. Kumar as the new President and Ghanshyam J. Pagrani as the Vice President. The position of the General Secretary is being held by Rakesh Sharma while H. Umesh is the Joint Secretary and Rakesh Kabra the Joint Treasurer.
The committee members include Ajay B. Bhatia, Ashok Kumar Kumat, Anil Bharadwaj, Bharatkumar Jayantilal Shah, C.S. Raghavan, Khushi Khatwani, Manish B. Bhatia, Sunil Bhatia, S.K. Joshi, Vijay Uttamchand Bhatia and Varghese Thomas.
Meanwhile, the Emirates Arts Centre, affiliated to the Indian Association, Dubai, and member of Indian community welfare committee, will celebrate Kerala's harvest festival of Onam on September 26, at the Ajman Beach Hotel with a traditional lunch.
