Paediatric emergency care area at SKMC
ABU DHABI - A new paediatric emergency care area opened at the Emergency Department of Shaikh Khalifa Medical Centre yesterday.
The Centre was inaugurated by Dr Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazroui, Director-General of GAHS in the presence of GAHS officials, Clyde H. Eder, CEO of SKMC and Ali Obaid Al Mansouri, Deputy CEO of SKMC.
The paediatric treatment area consists of eleven treatment spaces with state-of-the-art equipment. The area receives patients with asthma, dehydration, gastritis and other childhood illnesses.
The clinical support will be provided by means of a 24-hour pharmacy, radiology and laboratory services.
