The Ministry of Health and Prevention (Mohap) has issued a circular obligating all healthcare providers to never allow a person suspected of having coronavirus to leave their premises.
According to Arabic daily Al Ittihad, both private and public hospitals, and healthcare providers must make sure that anybody who may be infected by coronavirus must stay within the premises.
Hussein Al Rand, Undersecretary for Health Centres and Clinics at Mohap and Chairman of the National Committee for the Implementation of the Provisions of International Health Regulations and Prevention of Pandemics, said that all hospitals and medical centres must follow all the normal procedures implemented except for those cases that may be coronavirus.
Mohap has additionally issued new recommendations for meeting with people who were recently in China, which includes avoiding direct contact and observing good hygiene standards.
