Bored of the conventional art exhibitions where you line up to view the artists' work displayed on the wall or floor of a gallery? Then it's time to wake up and head to Abu Dhabi to catch American artist Tomyboy aka Rocketbyz's unique pieces of art at the Glow-In-The-Dark art exhibition, at Nation Towers, Abu Dhabi, tonight at 7pm.
The German born artist started his career in the music industry. While experimenting with colours and visual concepts for his music production, Tomyboy found his passion in fluorescent colours.
Tomyboy's flamboyant style appeals to millennials and art lovers who harbour a liking for edgy and hip artistic elements. He reflects his appreciation for pop culture through his work. The eccentric artist has painted portraits of classic icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, and Rihanna using fluorescent paint.
At the exhibition, hosted by Le Vault, you can view lifestyle luxury products such as sneakers, a Harley Davidson bike, a Rolex watch and a piano that have been used to create trendy art.
