College Carnival

The alumni association consists of 70 colleges from Kerala. As part of the carnival, several competitions were held over the past couple of months in various segments like cricket, sports, art, college day and carnival.

The competition for a ‘Thattu Kada’ (roadside foodstall as seen in Kerala) saw the participation of more than 18 colleges including Malabar Christian College, Calicut. Padmashree Dr. Bharat Mammooty was the chief guest on the final day of celebrations at the Etisalat Academy in Al Ghusais. The event was attended by K. C. Venugopal, Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Government of India.

Mammooty on the occasion shared his nostalgia of college days, and credited his friends from the time with playing a crucial role in his later success.
