Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will be performing his next major show in the UAE at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Friday September 16 to celebrate Eid al Adha.
Speaking ahead of his Dubai show, he said: "I am looking forward to coming to Dubai again to perform live for all my fans in the UAE. I am very excited to perform some brand new material and of course the classic hits for all the fans. See you there!"
The master of Qawwali music returns with a new live show, featuring new songs and a catalogue of his classic hits from the last few years. Having released his most recent smash hit Jag Ghoomeya from Salman Khan's Eid blockbuster Sultan, Rahat continues to deliver hit after hit. In just the last one month Jag Ghoomeya and his own solo release Tumhe Dillagi have notched up over 45 million hits combined on YouTube.
For the upcoming Dubai concert, one stand out moment will be a new unplugged segment, which will see Rahat perform a stripped back acoustic set of hits like never before. The show will also have the maestro sing classic Qawwali songs, including memorable numbers from his uncle, the late, great Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The new production was premiered at a headline show at London's iconic O2 Arena on Pakistan Independence Day, August 14.
