The Market returns to The Beach

Enriched with an array of artisanal goods, The Market has made a bigger and better comeback this month at THE BEACH. Drawing the participation of more than 36 distinctive vendors from the region's evolving small business sector, The Market with its quaint attractions and carnival atmosphere will appeal to visitors and residents alike.
Guests can enjoy tantalising bites and snacks ranging from gourmet hot dogs to delectable desserts and Arabic sweets. The more health-conscious can refresh and recharge with fruit juices and beverages. There is also a treasure-trove of unique products to browse through, like Mexican embroidered items, Tunisian beachwear, Italian bags, funky fashion jewellery, children's jewellery, woven bags and handmade necklaces.
Clothes at The Market range from Spanish baby wear and eclectic kids wear to beach wear, kaftans, turbans, and traditional Arabic ladies wear. Souvenir collectors can indulge in a variety of fun and eclectic home décor items and gifts such as festive Christmas décor, hand-crafted toys, organic skincare and sun products, handmade soaps, bath bombs and bath accessories.
Visitors to The Market can also check out the exquisitely crafted elephant figurines at Elephant Parade, specially made to raise awareness for elephants injured by landmines.
Guitarists will provide musical entertainment on Friday and Saturday morning from 10am to 2pm.
The Market at THE BEACH opposite JBR, South Lawn, near Pots, Pans & Boards, is open from 10am-10pm, Thursday to Saturday until May.
