 A girl student died and nine others were injured on Wednesday when a school building and a house collapsed in Pakistan's Balochistan province following an earthquake.
The Pakistan Met department said the quake measured 6.1 on the Richter scale with a depth of 179 km, the Nation newspaper reported.
The quake had its epicentre in the Hindu Kush mountain range, the department said.
According to media reports, the tremors were felt across the country including in Swat, Bannu and Peshawar.
