The partnership between ADUKG and Tanmia aims to provide a framework within which the parties will seek to develop a long term collaborative relationship in the fields of national human resources development, job training programs, organizing training and development conferences, and holding workshops to further the objectives of Tanmia and support its role of serving UAE society.
The MoU sets out areas of collaboration such as the development of joint marketing and PR campaigns to highlight the added value of employing Emiratis as well as the benefits and corporate social responsibility of assisting the Emirates in the development of its national human capital.
Speaking on the occasion Ricahrd Firth pointed out that Tanmia was playing a vital role in preparing job seekers and equipping them with the necessary skills to enter the job market. The partnership between Tanmiya and ADUKG will help to improve the study plans and training programs that are being offered in the field of human resources development in the country, and help equip national job seekers with the needed skills to succeed in an ever-changing market.
Feddah Loota pointed out Tanmia has already signed several partnership deals with academic and community establishments in the past. She noted that the addition of the ADUKG as a key strategic partner signifies the interest of Tanmia in signing partnerships with prestigious establishments to carry out development programs that will assist the authority to achieve its goals, and open new horizons of practical and applied knowledge to national job seekers.
The ADUKG was created as a commercial sister entity to complement Abu Dhabi University (ADU). The ADUKG is able to combine a depth of academic validity with the flexibility and innovation needed to respond to the social, governmental and corporate training and developmental needs of the region, according to its officials. Based on cutting edge practical research, the ADUKG has recently developed a suite of Emiratisation training and development programs that are intended to provide innovative and holistic advancement in the field of Nationalization, they claimed.
Over 50 leading organisations in the banking, construction, education, trading, services, aviation, health and recruitment sectors as well as Government departments are showcasing the various programmes launched by them to promote emiratisation.
Etisalat, Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council, Department of Finance and Police, ADNIC, ALDAR , ADAC and Royal Jet are some of the institutions which have put up stalls at the exhibition. Hundreds of Emirati youths were seen moving round the stalls and submitting their resumes seeking suitable jobs for them.
