Tamooha, which is Arabic for ambitious, will provide job opportunities created to adapt to women’s social and family responsibilities by giving them a choice on whether to work from home, in a bank branch near them, or in ADCB’s dedicated women-only operations centre in Al Ain.

The initiative is part of the bank’s commitment to serve the local community and its eagerness to bolster Emirati women’s employment in the banking sector.

Ala’a Eraiqat, ADCB CEO and Board Member, said that female employees can choose to work from home or from ADCB’s dedicated women-only operations centre in Al Ain. The centre is separated from the bank’s branch network and is entirely staffed and managed by women, making it ideally suited for Emirati women, as customer interaction is not required.
