The system, developed entirely by Dubai Customs, was launched last year as a pioneering initiative designed inline with the best international standards and practices to contribute to the overall growth and development of trade and economy.

“The Courier sector is considered one of the most important partners to the Department as it offers its services to a large number of organisations and individuals in the community. Therefore, it is absolutely essential for them to be updated with the recent application phase for Mirsal2. It is also important for us to become more aware of these companies’ needs in order to provide them with the best service possible,” said Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Executive Director, Customer Management Division at Dubai Customs. The Mirsal2 allows Pre-clearances, providing 24/7 clearance services, facilitating and simplifying clearance procedures as well as creating an electronic work environment without using paper documents.
