Dubai Taxi signs MoU with Japanese MK Taxi

DUBAI - The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC), Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Japanese taxi company (MK Co. Ltd) with the aim of boosting cooperation, exchanging expertise and sharing information between the two taxi operators in a way befitting the nature of targeted customers in both countries.

The MoU was signed on behalf of the DTC by its CEO Abdul Aziz Malik, and on behalf of the Japanese MK Taxi Co. Ltd by its President and Executive Director Nobuaki Aoki, in the presence of Directors and officials from both parties.

“The programs provided for in the MoU will be carried out in the spirit of common understanding, joint missions and bilateral cooperation based on mutual interests with the aim of improving the business in the interest of all spectrums of community members,” said Al Malik.

“The MoU covers a host of aspects such as fleet operations management, drivers management, drivers training, vehicles maintenance, vehicles replacement policy, taxi products and services, and customers’ relations management,” he added.

For his part Nobuaki Aoki expressed his deep delight with the signing of this MoU with the DTC and renewed his commitment to implement it through concerted efforts based on a team spirit to achieve the objectives for which this MoU is signed.

The DTC is always seeking to upgrade its performance and broaden the scope as well as uplift the caliber of its services to keep pace with the development seen by the UAE in general and Dubai Emirate in particular. To do so, DTC is counting on delivering world-class services to taxi riders and capitalizing on the expertise of taxi operators across the globe.
