The event’s joint hosts, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), said around 400 delegates are expected to actively discuss pressing issues affecting the banking and finance sector.
“This high profile even coming at these financially cruel times will show the world community our resolve to deal with the crisis while it will also promote Dubai as international business hub,” said Eng Hamad Buamin, director general of DCCI.
Some of the topics to be discussed are the final touches to the Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees, recent anti-money laundering initiatives, and the impact of the global financial crisis.
