Interim management is a service that uses highly skilled, experienced professionals on a temporary basis, from senior management through to executive board level, to provide additional support or expertise during times of change or challenge.

“We expect to sign around 100 mandates this year in the UAE. The number of mandates will reach around 200 in whole GCC region in 2010,” Andreas Hoeptner, Global CEO of Manager Forces told Khaleej Times.

Defining the interim management he said: “It is very flexible as our interim manager (IM) can work with any industry at any position. We can cover all industries either it is small or big.” It is a temporary assignment for a manager within a company. IM comes for a very limited time on a very defined task, he added. Companies can benefit from the use of IMs in a number of areas from managing a project or a business change; giving additional support to implement a business opportunity; providing support when existing management is absent or fully-stretched; to simply improving overall
business performance.

Responding to a question regarding IM’s access to secret information of a company he said: “Some companies open every thing before interim manager, but he does not leak any secret information because of contractual obligation.” “Interim Management is an ideal tool in a crisis: it is fast, high-quality and low-risk.”

Manager Forces provides companies with proven interim managers capable of managing projects of all kinds and achieving targets in critical timescales. “In these times, it makes prudent business sense to hire an interim manager to help complete projects,” Hoeptner said.
