Fujairah Sets Up Financial Control Office
FUJAIRAH - The Financial Control Office has been set up as per Amiri decree number 2 of year 2009, issued by His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, UAE Supreme Council Member and the Ruler of Fujairah.
The office, which will report directly to the Fujairah Ruler, will manage and disburse money and oversee financial reports of public institutions. It will also ensure those institutions and public agencies adhere to the system, rules, laws and principles of Hawkamah. The office will apply accountability and transparency principles.
The financial control office will also exercise financial control on the public departments and institutions and companies in which government owns not less than 5pc of their capitals. It will also oversee finance of any institution upon instructions from the Ruler.
