The leased accommodation — around half of the total available in the development’s first four office towers — is the new workplace for more than 700 people whose employers have chosen Downtown Jebel Ali as their regional hub. More global and local firms are due to move in over the next few months.
The premises offer modern accommodation with onsite facilities management services. Businesses can lease areas from 3,500 to 15,000 square feet including multiple floors. The completed office blocks will soon be joined by four more towers with apartments, retail, recreational and additional commercial facilities. The eight-building complex called The Galleries is under construction in Zone 1 of the 200 hectare project and is due for completion by
late 2009.
Salah Ameen, Project Director at Downtown Jebel Ali, said: “Our growing list of globally-renowned tenants proves that the commercial towers in The Galleries meet both local and international business expectations.
