SHARJAH - Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, also known as SCTDA will be taking part for the 12th consecutive year in the Arabian Travel Market, the Middle East’s premier travel and tourism event, scheduled to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 5 - 8 May 2009.

“ATM 2009 will see a substantial increase in the number of exhibitors, tourist destinations and products, and will represent an important platform for us, providing us with a opportunity to showcase the distinctive tourism products,” said Shaikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman, SCTDA.

“The great challenges faced by the tourism sector due to the global economic crisis call for coordinated efforts and the utilisation of all capabilities,” he said.
