Skyline University enter final

Winning the toss UOWD elected to bat first. UOWD lost early wickets as Salman and Zakir bowled well in the initial overs. Salal took three wickets for Skyline and UOWD were all out for 110.

Skyline University College defeated University of Wollongong in Dubai by five wickets to enter the final of the Skyline Inter-University Sports Festival-2014.

Winning the toss UOWD elected to bat first. UOWD lost early wickets as Salman and Zakir bowled well in the initial overs. Salal took three wickets for Skyline and UOWD were all out for 110.

In reply, Skyline sarted well but lost their opener Milesh in the second over itself. But Salman who was in for Zubair took Skyline to comfortable score before getting out on 66. Skyline won the match in the 16^th over for a loss of 5 wickets.

In throwball Skyline girls entered finals. Skyline will meet University of Wollongong in the finals. In the basketball mens event; Skyline entered semi-final beating Emirates Aviation College in an extremely thrilling match by 38-34. In another match Middlesex University Middlesex beat Canadian University 46-38 to march to the semi-finals.

In Football, American University of Ras Al Khaima, Emirates Aviation College, American University of Sharjah, Middlesex University qualified for the semi-finals.
