Anybody who's anybody has heard of the lyrics. "I have a pen, I have an apple, Apple pen" taking over social media feeds coupled with its ridiculously nonsensical, albeit hilarious music video. It now has a Guinness World Record. The artist behind it, 53-year old Japanese comedian Piko-Taro said in a press conference: "I'm surprised by this sudden popularity." At 45 seconds, the song is the shortest one to have entered the Billboard Hot 100 debuting on the US charts at No. 77 eclipsing the record set 52 years ago by The Womenfolk song 'Little Boxes' which entered at No.83 in the Hot 100 at one minute and two seconds. The viral video which cost on $950 to make has reached worldwide recognition with artists such as Justin Bieber declaring it as his 'favourite video on the Internet' in a Twitter post.
