The decision was taken recently after the Dubai Health Authority and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialities held talks to further strengthen their cooperation to benefit the medical sector in the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The move is expected to benefit the 3,000-plus medical specialists working in Dubai.

“This will greatly benefit doctors in both countries as they will be able to hold visiting sessions and workshops in either of the countries,” said Dr Ramadan Ibrahim,
Director of the DHA Health Regulation.During the meeting, Dr Ibrahim also provided an overview of the licensing system in Dubai for both health facilities and medical professionals.
