In an effort to create awareness among the blue-collar workers about financial literacy and planning as well as learning new skills and health screening, the Consulate General of India in Dubai, in collaboration with Pravasi Bhartiya Sahayata Kendra (PBSK), will roll out an initiative titled ‘Breakfast with Consul General.’
As part of this workers’ outreach initiative, Dr Aman Puri, the Consul General of India will visit one labour camp every month, preferably on the first Friday of each month, to meet Indian workers.
The first visit will be at the L&T Labour Accommodation Camp at Dubai Investments Park (DIP) on Friday at 10 a.m.
Apart from financial literacy and planning as well as learning new skills, and health screening, the workers will also be made aware of the services offered by PBSK.
Dr Aman Puri will have breakfast with his compatriots in the camp premises - and it will be held with all Covid safety protocols in place.
