Berlin - Sheikh Mohamed said the two countries share identical views on rejection of terrorism.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, arrived to a warm welcome in Berlin on Tuesday on a two-day official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.
Sheikh Mohamed and his delegation were given a ceremonial reception by President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at Bellevue Palace in the German capital. Steinmeier welcomed Sheikh Mohammed, wishing that this important visit will enhance bilateral relations in various fields and push them to wider horizons.
Sheikh Mohammed expressed his pleasure to visit Germany. He conveyed to Steinmeier the greetings of the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his wishes to the German people for progress and stability.
Sheikh Mohamed said the two countries share identical views on rejection of terrorism and the need to confront the forces that support it. "The UAE attaches special importance to its relations with Germany and is keen on enhancing them in areas related to economy, technology, innovation, scientific research among others," he said.
