Motorists will have to face another morning of congested roads from Sharjah, inbound to Dubai before the weekend starts.
Several roads along Downtown Dubai and Business Bay are also closed. Motorists are advised to plan ahead if they will be driving towards that area.
According to live traffic data from Google Maps, both E11 Dubai-Sharjah Road and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road are heavily congested. No accidents have been reported along both roads. Parts of Beirut Street are showing some tailbacks with clear roads in between.
In other parts of Dubai, motorists driving from Al Ain along the Dubai-Al Ain road can expect a long tailback starting from Zayed University all way to Nad Al Sheba.
