The park's shape reflects the UAE's traditional desert, "which played an essential economic role before oil discovery", the Dubai Municipality said on Saturday.
Located in Al Awir, it features 472 palm trees and 54 types of dates. It also has a lake and showcases the traditional irrigation technique called Falaj.
