UAE weather: Temperature rises to 49.6°C in the country

Dubai - The weather in the country had been forecast to be fair to partly cloudy on June 30.

Mercury in the country nearly touched 50°C today.
A temperature of 49.6°C was recorded in Mezaira at 3pm on Tuesday, the UAE's weather department said.
It was a day of mixed weather in the country. While the mercury soared on one hand, some eastern parts of the country saw heavy winds and dust, while some parts of Fujairah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah saw rainfall.
