Asian expatriate worker died while three others were injured after an escalator collapsed on top of them at an under construction mall in Oman.

"An electric staircase [escalator] collapse at a mall under construction in Mabella area in the wilayat of Seeb led to the death of an Asian worker and the injury of three others with varying levels of injury," Royal Oman Police (ROP) was quoted saying by Times of Oman.
