Dubai - The RTA offered 90 distinctive plates in the open auction comprising two, three, four and five-digit plates.

Special Dubai vehicle number plates fetched a total of Dh36.62 million during an auction that happened on Sunday.
The 104th auction organised by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) registered an increase of 83 per cent in proceeds as compared to the one conducted in December 2019 that fetched Dh19 million.
During the first auction of 2020, V12 sold for a whopping Dh7 million, followed by S20 that went for Dh4.06 million and Y66 that fetched Dh3.2 million.
The RTA offered 90 distinctive plates in this open auction comprising of two, three, four and five-digit plates. The auction was conducted with strict social distancing protocols in place to keep bidders and staff safe from Covid-19.
