Dubai - The Garden Glow Season 2, which was inaugurated a month ago at Zabeel Park attracted about 20,000 people during the three-day National Day holidays.

Dubai Municipality's public parks witnessed about 200,000 visitors during the 45th UAE National Day celebrations.
The Creek, Mamzar, Safa, Mushrif and Zabeel parks received a total of 196,800 visitors of various nationalities during the first three days of December. The parks had organized a variety of entertainment programs to suit the national occasion.
On December 1st (Thursday), 84,546 people visited the parks and on Friday, December 2nd, the number of visitors rose to 87,434 whereas on December 3rd (Saturday) 24,822 visitors reached the parks.
The Garden Glow Season 2, which was inaugurated a month ago at Zabeel Park attracted about 20,000 people during the three-day National Day holidays. Since it opened to the public a month ago, the park has attracted 90,000 visitors including kids.
Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al Awadhi, Director of Public Parks and Horticulture Department said "We prepare and organize a variety of activities and events at each of the parks and provide all means of recreation and entertainment for the whole family, especially by focusing on the diversity of activities and events ."
The Children's City at Creek park had 708 visitors during the Friday and Saturday of the National Day celebrations. The Children's City events included technical workshops, special celebrations sponsored by Orchid Fine Arts Institute, distribution of national day gifts, traditional shows, performance by a military band, popular games, the UAE first contest, dances, entertainment contests with Abdullah Bin London, flag coloring corner, heritage exhibition and 45 grand raffle draws.
