Sharjah - The police said the mother was trying to put the baby brother of the deceased in a stroller when the boy ran to the road and was struck by a car.

A four-year-old boy died on the spot in front of his mother after being hit by a speeding motorist near his residence in Sharjah.
The police said the mother was trying to put the baby brother of the deceased in a stroller at the time, when the boy - identified only as Ahmed - ran to the road and was struck by the car.
The helpless mother fainted and passersby notified the police, who rushed to the scene and transferred the body to Al Qasimi Hospital.
The boy used to study at the Sharjah International School.
