A six-year-old Indian boy died after he was run over in a traffic accident in Dubai's Murshid Bazaar area. According to police sources, the accident took place on Saturday at 8pm when the boy, Yaala Mohstisham, was riding his bicycle.

Brigadier Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, director of the Dubai traffic department, said the boy was crisscrossing on his cycle on the road. An Indian driver who was on the correct lane crashed into the cycle. The driver got confused and reversed his car, crushing the boy and the cycle again.

He said that the accident has been captured on CCTV cameras.
The boy sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Rashid Hospital, where he declared brought dead.
A relative of the boy, Abdulqadirr Pasha, said the boy was in grade 2 and was a student of Our Own English High School. "He was a cheerful and lovely boy. His family has been settled in the UAE for a long time. His parents are in a state of shock."
5-year-old child dies in horrific road accident
As soon as the parents came to know of the accident, they rushed to the spot. A bystander told the parents that the boy had died on the spot.
Pasha said the family is completing the legal and administrative procedures and after that the child will be buried here.
