The Authority of Social Contribution - Ma'an on Thursday announced a new initiative to provide food to blue-collar workers in Abu Dhabi during Ramadan.
The 'Together We Share' scheme is part of the 'Together We Are Good' programme, which gives the community the chance to support the Abu Dhabi Government's efforts to address the current health and economic challenges posed by Covid-19.
People are urged to contribute to the cause by sending a SMS to pledge a set amount, with Dh20 paying for two meals.
Residents can send SMS messages to 6670 (Dh1,000), 6678 (Dh500), 6683 (Dh100) and 6658 (Dh50).
They can also call 8005-MAAN to offer their services as a volunteer and can make financial and in-kind contributions by calling 0543055366.
