The procedures for creating accounts and registering vehicles are easy.
Here’s all you need to know before using the Darb toll gates:
> To register go to www.darb.itc.gov.ae or use the Darb app for smartphones,
> Registration fee per vehicle costs Dh100 per vehicle, of which Dh50 will be kept as a balance in the user’s account.
> The fees will be calculated through four gates located on the bridges leading to Abu Dhabi city – Sheikh Zayed Bridge, Sheikh Khalifa Bridge, Al Maqtaa Bridge and Mussafah Bridge.
> Vehicles will be charged Dh4 for toll gate crossing the toll gate during peak times from Saturday to Thursday from 7-9 am and in the evening from 5-7 pm. The maximum ceiling for daily toll fees per vehicles is Dh16.
> No fees will be calculated outside peak times, Fridays and public holidays.
> Fees will be deducted automatically from the user’s account, which is prepaid through an electronic payment wallet.
> There will be no need to install a toll gate sticker on the vehicle’s windshield.
