The 2017 projects included the building of Al Nuaimiya Police station at a cost of Dh12 million, and the support mission in Al Jarf area and police warehouse for Dh15 million. The security project also includes the Aman patrols and installation of security cameras around the city, helping to reduce serious crimes. Maj Gen Al Nuaimi noted that all of the above have played a great role in decreasing crime rates in 2017, by 50 per cent in the past 10 months, compared to the same period last year.
