Crane catches fire in Ajman Sports Stadium

Ajman - The fire was caused due to technical default, said Col, Nasser Al Zeri, spoke person of Ajman civil defense.

A fire broke out in a crane used in Ajman sport Stadium in Al Nuaimia area for construction on Wednesday. No causalities have been reported.
The fire was caused due to technical default, said Col, Nasser Al Zeri, spoke person of Ajman civil defense.
He said that they received a call about the afire at 12:30 and within 4 minutes the fire fighter reached the site and doused the fire in ten minutes. After cooling operation the accident site was handed over to Ajman Police for investigation.

He said that Ajman civil defense is well prepared to response to any emergency with in maximus eight minutes based on international standard, but their fire fighter in most of the emergency reached the site between 4to5 minutes to reduce the damage to properties and prevent injuries and death.
