A meeting was held at the DTCM Head Office, which was attended by the DTCM team, professionals from South Africa and officials from Department of Civil Aviation, Dubai hotels, Dubai Transport and Emirates Transport.

Marwan bin Beyat, DTCM Deputy Manager, who chaired the meeting, said that the department is committed to boost tourism for the disabled in the emirate. "This meeting gave us new ideas on ways to fulfill our commitment.

It provided us a chance to update the visiting delegates about Dubai's facilities as well as future projects designed to cater to the disabled people," he said.

The visiting delegation is responsible for operating a Sports and a Business Centre for disabled people in South Africa.
