Dubai Media City high-rise fire brought under control

Dubai - UAE residents have been evacuated from the building.

A fire that had broken out at Business Central Towers in Dubai Media City earlier on Wednesday has been put out. No one was injured.
According to the Dubai Civil Defence, the fire was caused by a short circuit.
Photos from the scene of the blaze had surfaced on social media shortly after the incident took place. People had been evacuated and were waiting on the streets even as fire fighters worked to extinguish the flames.
