Sharjah - The family members including parents and four children fell sick after eating lunch at their house on Thursday.

Sharjah Police launched intensified investigation of the food poisoning of six members of Emirati family in Sharjah.
The family members including parents and four children fell sick after eating lunch at their house on Thursday. Police official said that after receiving a complaint from the hospital, the case was referred to forensic laboratory, which immediately launched an investigation.
According to medical official at the hospital, the family members arrived in the hospital at 3am on Friday with symptoms of nausea, stomach pain, vomiting and fever. They were immediately admitted in the ICU and provided with necessary care.
The father's condition is said to be stable, however, his three daughters - aged 7, 14 and 18 - and 11-year-old son are still in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital. Speaking to Khaleej Times, the father of the sick kids, Khalil Ibrahim, said that his two others sons who didn't have the lunch at home, rushed them to Al Qasimi Hospital.
He added that all the affected felt the same symptoms, however, condition of his wife A.F is stable now. He said that police interrogated him about the maid who joined the family two month ago. She had also eaten from the same food twice in the day and nothing had happened to her.
The forensic laboratory report would reveal the cause of the food poisoning.
