Five people, including a girl and a woman, were killed and nine people were injured in separate accidents reported in Dubai in the last three days.

On Saturday, an Emirati woman died when her car crashed into another on Al Barsha South road. According to the police, the deceased changed to the left lane and hit another car. She died at the accident scene.

In another accident on Saturday, a Pakistani motorcyclist was killed after a pick-up car hit his bike on Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road. A girl was killed and six others injured in a collision in Al Barsha on Friday, said Major Ali Abdulla Al Naqbi, duty officer at the General Department of Rescue and Transport of the Dubai Police.

An Asian worker was ran over by a car while crossing Dubai-Al Ain Road from a non-designated area on Friday.


On Thursday night, a Nissan Patrol rammed into the back of a slow-moving heavy truck on the Emirates Road at 9pm, resulting in the death of the Emirati driver of the car.
