The RTA has urged commuters to adhere to the precautionary measures while travelling on the Dubai Metro as they announced the start of operations of four new stations today.

The first journey of Route 2020 departed on January 1, at 10am from Jebel Ali Station, according to a RTA tweet.

The four new metro stations, Jebel Ali, The Gardens, Discovery Gardens and Al Furjan, are part of the RTA's Route 2020 Metro extension, which aims to enhance the communities’ travel experience, bringing more convenience to residents and visitors.
