Apart from a BBC One video (which you can watch below), a photo shared by Dubai Media Office showing a window cleaner on the 124th floor can help you unravel the towering task and put to rest your amazement.
The photo starts with the caption - saying it's a "tall job". The photo is of a lone window cleaner high above the clouds with his safety gear, making sure that the world's tallest building always looks spic and span. You can check out the photo for yourself below.

Credit for the photo goes to Teovel Iradon - who took the snapshot as part of National Geographic's Your Shot community. It was taken in Dubai during the winter season when low lying clouds appear over the city's skies. The photo has generated a massive interest, with over 500 users marking it as favourite. It also received a note from NatGeo Photographer Robbie Shone who said:
"EPIC - In a less epic way, this frame reminds me of a children's story I remember called Jack and the Beanstalk (check it out). What I particularly love about this picture is the simplicity of the composition, the soft pastel lighting and the fact that the workman is already a long way up above the cloud, meaning that they must be a very very long way above the floor! Great shot. Reminds me of my days 'on the ropes' back in London, Leeds and Manchester, England."
The photo has since been published twice - as NatGeo's Photo of the Day on September 20, 2017 as well as being selected for their 'Epic' story.
