Plans for Sharjah's Friday Market approved

His Highness Dr. Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved the final plans for the Friday Market in Al Bataeh area, and directed the Sharjah Department of Public Works (DPW) to begin its construction.
The decision is within the framework of the Ruler of Sharjah's plan to fulfil the requirements and needs of citizens, which includes the establishment of commercial and consumer service facilities that promote civil society and provide improved services and performances in the emirate.
