Beginning Monday, June 29,  all public beaches and parks in Fujairah will reopen for visitors. 
Fujairah Municipality has taken the step in collaboration with the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority.
Visitors, however, will need to strictly observe all precautionary measures to curb the spread of Covid-19.

People must maintain social distancing, wear masks and gloves, use hand sanitisers, along with other safety measures. As authorities have reiterated on several occasions in the recent past, it is critical for everyone to act responsibly and stay safe.

Last week, Sharjah also reopened some of its leisure facilities -- such as parks, some beaches, pools and cinemas -- and began welcoming back visitors while Abu Dhabi reopened its cultural sites, including popular museums like the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Hosn. 
In Dubai, all major landmarks and attractions, beaches and parks sprung back to life and reopened for visitors in late May.
The UAE recently announced the completion of its National Sterilisation Programme, lifting all movement restrictions across the country. Earlier, residents were required to stay home during sterilisation timings between 11pm and 6am in Dubai and 10pm and 6am in all other emirates. Authorities have mandated that individuals and communities need to continue to adhere to strict safety measures, with violators facing hefty fines and even jail terms for repeat non-compliance.
