Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met UAE President Sheikh Mohamed in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
The premier, who arrived in the UAE earlier in the day, held discussions with the focus on various sectors, particularly the promotion of trade and investment between Pakistan and the UAE.
The meeting also covered discussions on the matters of mutual interest and regional affairs.

Earlier, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court of UAE, received the Pakistan Prime Minister upon his arrival in Abu Dhabi.

This is Sharif's first visit to the UAE since his election in February this year. .
The Prime Minister’s visit "marks an important step towards further deepening multifaceted bilateral collaboration between Pakistan and the UAE," the Pakistan embassy said on Wednesday.
