The firefighters from the Sharjah Civil Defence have managed to control a massive fire that broke out in a furniture warehouse in Sharjah Industrial Area 1.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the incident but heavy smoke engulfed the skies, creating panic among the residents of Sharjah.
The fire had created massive flames due to the presence of flammable material at the site.
The civil defence officials said that they had received a call regarding the incident at 9:58pm.
The operation room immediately dispatched fire fighters from Samnan, the headquarter and Al Mina fire stations who reached the site in less than five minutes and managed to control the fire.
The firefighters managed to control the fire in short time and also prevent it from spreading to adjacent areas.
