A fire has broken out in a building near the 8th street intersection with Latifa Bint Hamdan Hamdan Street in Al Quoz area in Dubai.

Several police vehicles and fire engines have rushed to the spot and are trying to battle the flames.

Area surrounding the incident has been cordoned off.
