I am in my late sixties and have recently developed pigmentation on my left cheek. The rest of my skin is clear, which is why the dermatologist has said that it could be due to sun exposure. Could you please suggest a suitable treatment?

Mix half a teaspoon of walnut powder, a teaspoon of coconut milk and a few strands of saffron, along with a few drops of rose water to make a paste. Apply this mild, regular use scrub on your face, and scrub off when dry. Follow with a cold rinse. Be sure to wear sun protection when you step out of the house and into the heat.
My hair is very dry. I also have cracks on the sides of my mouth, which look quite ugly. I drink four large glasses of water a day and eat fruits on a daily basis. Please help.

You need to double your water intake. Eat nuts like almonds and walnuts everyday. Good fat in the form of Omega fatty acids can be taken in the form of supplements — take one capsule a day. In addition to this, taking Vitamin E supplements will also be beneficial to you. Eat half an avocado, mash up the rest and apply it to your face and hair — this is extremely nourishing for the skin. Do this every alternate day.
I am in my late forties. I am very slim and tall but I have pockets of fat on my thighs and arms. I eat a lot of fibre. Could you please help me with a solution?

If the pockets of fat on your thighs and hands, look like orange peels when pressed, it’s a sign of cellulite and special treatment is a must. Before showering, brush your body with a body brush. Do this twice a day. Your skin will get smooth and the cellulite will slowly melt away.
I have severe open pores and my skin is very oily (although I do not have a pimple problem). I have to keep powdering my skin to make it look fresh. Could you please suggest a remedy for my skin problems?
Neetu
Mix some strawberry purée and corn flour together to make a smooth paste. Use this on your skin everyday to help shrink the pores. Avoid using hot water on your face. Cold mint water is excellent when it comes to shrinking pores and will keep skin looking fresh and firm.
I have puffy eyelids, which the doctor says is hereditary. Is there any natural home remedy to make it less prominent?
Ralpph
Chilled tea bags will help activate circulation and firm the skin around the eyes. Also patting the eyelids will improve circulation and lessen the puffiness.
