I recently had a bad acne attack. The pimples were painful and, though they've subsided more or less now (I used your cinnamon and honey remedy), they've left behind really dark marks and spots. My face used to be clear and these marks on my skin are really upsetting me. Please tell me what I can do.

Honey and lemon juice, in equal parts, can lighten the skin and clear away pimples too. Apply this twice a week for quick results.
I'm a 16-year-old girl. The exposed areas of my arms - from elbows downwards - are extremely dark, as is my forehead. I'm also suffering from dandruff and hair fall. Do you have any remedies for these problems?
- Gopika
Take one tablespoon of aloe vera gel and add one teaspoon of orange juice and one teaspoon of honey to it. Mix well and apply this onto the face and scalp. For your skin, apply this for one hour daily and, for your hair, twice or thrice a week. Not only will it clear away the tan, it will leave your skin moisturised and get rid of the dandruff too.

I am an 18-year-old girl and I always go for natural solutions when it
comes to my face and body. My hair has started splitting a lot and is falling out too. What can I do to prevent my hair from falling and splitting, and boost its growth?

The first step to achieving healthy hair is correcting your diet and making sure it includes plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables and a low-fat protein. For a remedy, take one tablespoon almond oil and add one tablespoon aloe vera gel and one tablespoon lemon juice to it. Mix well and apply onto your hair and scalp. Leave overnight, or at least two hours, before shampooing off. This must be done at least twice a week for best results. Your hair will get healthier and the split ends will reduce.

I have short, soft hair around my belly button area. Is there any way I can remove them without waxing? Also, my hands are really rough and dry - is there any way I can make them soft and smooth? Lastly, when I grow a beard, it looks very uneven. How can I grow a full beard? Will natural coconut oil help lighten the skin and make the hair soft?
- Hashim
For the hair around your belly button, boil a little broken rice in hot water until it is of a sticky, creamy texture. Once it cools, apply this mix onto the area and scrub when dry. This will get rid of the hair while keeping the skin smooth and soft. For your dry hands, take yoghurt and add a bit of sugar to make a scrub. Scrub your hands well with this to make them nice and smooth. Finally, for your beard, mix together four drops of rosemary oil and four drops of castor oil and massage this onto your face to activate hair growth.
