Nikki Beach Resort and Spa is known to offer unparalleled experiences - whether it's through their deluxe pool parties or beach views. It's no wonder the resort itself has a 'holiday' vibe, reminiscent of a trip to Santorini, with its modern decor and light shades of blue and white. Well, the weather might not be ideal for sunbathing just yet - but you can always enjoy the best of what the resort has to offer with a trip to the spa.
Much like the resort, Nikki Spa is decked out in soothing shades of white and blue. The interior is spacious, uncluttered and swanky, with wooden motifs adding a touch of class to the area. The variety of treatments offered are just as impressive, including 'Revive', 'Renew' and 'Retreat' packages. I had opted for a 55-minute 'On The Rocks' treatment, which is basically a hot stone massage, and couldn't help but revel in the subtle luxury of the place, the plush grey bath robes and the sweet scent of jasmine mingling in the air. There's a steam room and sauna, a pool-like jacuzzi and a relaxation area decked in white. Even the treatment room, with a plush seat built into the wall, and greenery seen through the window, is rather relaxing.
So, if you are planning a trip, be sure to arrive early to make the most of the facilities. And don't forget your swimsuit!
Therapy Time
My masseuse, Nancy, began the treatment with a quick consultation, asking me about my problem areas, my choice of massage oil, pressure and even room temperature! They really do take personalisation seriously around here. A stone was placed in the middle of my back, and later, in the middle of my stomach when I turned. I liked the fact that the massage included the use of plenty of pressure points, kneading, light hand stretches and a pretty effective head massage. It wrapped up with a hot foot rub with a towel. 55 minutes later, my back was free from knots and felt good as new.

What we loved
The level of personalisation! I had informed Nancy about the frequent upper back pains I have (all thanks to my poor posture) and she spent extra time kneading the area, and removing the knots that were causing said pain. The facilities are also incredible - one could easily spend a day here.

What we didn't
Some of the stones didn't feel very hot which I thought defeated the purpose of a hot stone massage. Other than that, I'd be nitpicking to find fault in the treatment or the facilities - they were great. With the cooler months approaching, we're sure the place will be busy soon.
